MIRI: Police here have detained six men who tested positive for drugs.
The suspects, all in their 30’s, were rounded up by the district Narcotic Crime Investigation Division at around 5pm on Tuesday at a house in Kampung Bekenu Asli.
According to sources, the suspects, who came from nearby villages, were abusing drugs in the house.
During the raid, police also seized some drugs believed to be “syabu” (meth) from the suspects.
The men are being investigated under Section 15 (1) and Section 12 of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952 for drug possession.
