BAU: A woman suffered injuries after her car collided with another car on Friday morning.
The incident occurred in front of SMK Paku at 9.18am.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) assistant operations director Tiong Ling Hii said the Toyoya Altis and Proton Saga knocked into each other.
“The female victim suffered injuries on her face, and she was still in the car when Bomba personnel arrived at the scene,” he said yesterday.
He said after Bomba arrived, the other five victims were already being assisted by passersby.
“The emergency medical rescue services (EMRS) unit immediately provided early treatment to the victims, and the female victim was sent to Bau Hospital for further treatment,” he said.
He added that Bomba also carried out works to clean the oil spill at the scene.
