MIRI: The new federal cabinet announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, represents a significant step towards strengthening the government’s administration.
“The new cabinet list demonstrates our government’s commitment to reform and delivering results for the people,” Miri MP Chiew Choon Man told New Sarawak Tribune.
Chiew expressed particular enthusiasm about the appointment of Employees Provident Fund (EPF) CEO Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan as Finance Minister II.
“His corporate background as the second technocrat in the Finance Ministry signifies that our government is selecting individuals with the right knowledge, ability, and skills to manage our country,” he said.
He also welcomed the return of senior MPs to ministerial roles, highlighting former Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad.
