You can be in many places
Yet in reality, and with no surprise
You are actually, nowhere at all
For you were never there, in the first place
Whenever you are already absent
You’re disconnected, in spirit and soul
In the realm of the sublime
Your mere physical presence alone
Does not mean real connectivity
For in the world of the soul and unseen
Ineffectual words are already heard
Even before they are actually uttered
But know that, rare indeed is a man
Who can see, and sense the beyond
Beyond what the eyes can see
Whereas most common is a man
Who tends to project his limited view
Onto everything that he sees
Know that a song, no matter how beautiful
Will sound discordant, and off pitch
If played off tune, and off key
Or with the wrong instrument
For then, there will be no symphony
Let alone harmony, in the music at all
