BAU: A soldier sustained injuries after he was ejected from his vehicle which skidded and crashed along Jalan Bau-Lundu here this morning.
The accident happened around 6.45 am near Kampung Stenggang.
Firefighters from Bau station were dispatched to the scene, about 25km away, after receiving an emergency call.
Upon arrival, the team found the vehicle crashed by the roadside.
The 29-year-old victim was later carried into the paramedics’ ambulance for on-site treatment before being taken to the hospital for further medical attention.
The extent of his injuries is not known.
