KUCHING: AmBank Group is offering up to six months of repayment relief for flood-affected customers in Sarawak and Sabah.
According to its statement, this targeted assistance aims to alleviate the financial burden faced by AmBank customers in the Sarawak and Sabah regions, where floods have caused significant property damage and road closures.
It explained that the Flood Relief programme offers a moratorium of up to six months on monthly financing and a waiver of any incidental or replacement charges for passbooks, cheque books, ATM cards, credit cards, and debit cards.
AmBank Group Chief Executive Officer Jamie Ling expressed sympathy for the communities affected by the devastating floods.
