MUKAH: Sarawak Plantation Berhad (SPB) has provided aid to longhouses in the Jalan Bukut area that have been cut off due to flooding.
The food aid baskets, which included essential items such as beverages, rice, eggs, cooking oil, and sugar, were delivered by SPB Board Member, Philip Matau.
The aid was distributed to two affected longhouses: Rumah Suli Budin and Rumah Annie Samah.
Through this initiative, SPB aims to ease the burden on the residents of these longhouses.
Due to road access being blocked, the aid was transported by lorries, and the villagers used boats to retrieve and bring the supplies to their homes.
