DEBAK: The construction of Phase 2 of the Debak District Sports Complex is currently underway, with an allocation of RM14 million set to develop high-quality sports facilities for the local community.

The project scope includes the construction of a grandstand, the expansion of the sports complex site and road structure modifications – in line with the state government’s efforts to enhance sports infrastructure in the area.

During a visit to the construction site recently, Deputy Women, Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Minister, Datuk Mohammad Razi Sitam, said the project reflects towards the state government’s commitment in providing quality sports facilities for the people of Debak District and the entire Saribas constituency.

“With an improved sports infrastructure in the constituency, we hope to create more opportunities for the youth in Saribas to further develope their talents while promoting a healthy lifestyle.

“This is also an important step to encourage more competitions and sports development programs in this area,” said the Saribas assemblyman.
