KUCHING: Governor Tun Pehin Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi visited the MBKS Ramadan Bazaar at Stutong Market, Jalan Setia Raja, here on Sunday, bringing joy to traders and visitors alike.
Arriving at 3.30 pm, the couple spent approximately 30 minutes touring the vibrant bazaar, engaging warmly with vendors and members of the public. They were accompanied by MBKS councillors, who extended a warm welcome to the Head of State and his wife.
During their visit, Wan Junaidi and Fauziah stopped at several stalls, exchanging pleasantries and showing keen interest in the variety of local delicacies available. They purchased several popular Ramadan treats, including grilled lamb, meatballs, and fresh coconut juice.
Their presence added excitement to the bazaar, with many vendors expressing gratitude for the support and recognition from the Head of State. Shoppers and traders eagerly took the opportunity to greet the distinguished guests, with some managing to capture photographs as a memento of the special occasion.
