Governor, Traffic director discuss strengthening collaboration

KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar received a courtesy call from the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) Bukit Aman director Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri.

The visit, held at the Astana Negeri Sarawak today (Mar 4), aimed to strengthen cooperation between Bukit Aman JSPT, the Governor, and the Sarawak government in enhancing strategic collaboration.

During the meeting, Mohd Yusri extended his congratulations to Wan Junaidi on his appointment as the eighth Head of State of Sarawak.

He also expressed appreciation for the contribution of 10 high-powered motorcycles to JSPT Sarawak, acknowledging the Sarawak government’s commitment to road safety.

Discussions covered JSPT Bukit Aman’s plans to enhance traffic investigation and enforcement, in line with efforts to improve operational efficiency and road safety in Sarawak.

The visit was part of the director’s official working visit to the Sarawak Police Contingent Headquarters.
