Hope Place Kuching provides aid to Kampung Tabuan Lot fire victims

KUCHING: Following the recent fire incident at Kampung Tabuan Lot, which left 38 individuals facing significant losses, Hope Place Kuching swiftly responded by providing temporary food aid.

In a press release, the charity organisation stated that the assistance included biscuits, dry noodles, canned food, baby milk powder and drinking water.

“Other essential items provided were bath gel, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, bath towels and baby diapers.

“Contributions were distributed to all four affected households,” Hope Place said.

The organisation added that the victims are currently taking shelter at the PPS Dewan Dato Sri Wan Junaidi.
Hope Place representative Kelvin Wan personally handed over the donations to village head Ismail Ibrahim.

“We thank all donors who continuously support the local community, especially during disasters such as floods and fires.

“We are also grateful to collaborate with local authorities like the Social Welfare Department (JKM) and the Civil Defence Force (APM) here in Kuching,” Hope Place added.
