Wan Junaidi expressed his hope that this celebration, which is joyously marked with the greeting “Puthāndu Vāḻttukkaḷ”, would bring new rays of hope, happiness, and well-being to all communities.

“I hope that the celebrations of Puthandu and Vaisakhi will be a good starting point for a year filled with hope, progress, and success,” he said in a statement posted on his Facebook page today (Apr 14).

In addition, he urged all citizens to continue strengthening the spirit of unity and to renew their commitment to building a more inclusive and harmonious society.

He also stressed the importance of preserving racial harmony, which is the foundation of the country’s stability, prosperity, and progress, especially in Sarawak.
