PALOH: A new building for Sekolah Kebangsaan Orang Kaya Muda Pakeri here will be constructed to replace the current school building, which has been declared unsafe for use.
Tanjong Manis Member of Parliament, Yusuf Abdul Wahab, welcomed the good news from the Ministry of Education Malaysia and stated that he will stay in close contact with the Ministry to ensure the project is implemented as soon as possible.
He added that this includes the Paloh-Kedang-Berangan to Tanjung Manis road project, which is expected to begin in 2026.
“At present, all preliminary works are nearly completed and the next processes will be carried out soon.
“In the meantime, while waiting for these projects to begin and be completed, the needs and facilities in the affected villages – such as upgrading village roads – will also be carried out as preparation and support for the development, especially the bridge and rural road projects,” he said.
He said this during the Aidilfitri Gathering ceremony at the Kampung Paloh community hall here on Wednesday.
He urged the people to remain patient and continue offering their support and cooperation so that all these projects can proceed smoothly.
“I will also remain fully committed to ensure that all projects are carried out without any delays or interruptions,” he said.
