SEOUL: One person was killed and 11 others were injured as a fire broke out at a 21-storey apartment building in Seoul, with police suspecting that a man committed arson, Yonhap News Agency reported.
The fire occurred at the apartment building in Bongcheon-dong at 8.17 am, according to police officials.
Of the 11 injured, two people were taken to a hospital after plunging from the apartment building. The remaining nine sustained minor injuries, including smoke inhalation and difficulty breathing.
Police suspect the man started the fire deliberately and are tracking down the suspect. – BERNAMA-YONHAP
