KUCHING: As part of its 50th anniversary, Affin Bank Berhad is introducing a series of engaging events, impactful campaigns and innovative product launches in the coming months.
Its president and group chief executive officer Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah Wan Ali said the celebration reflects the bank’s long history of success and dedication to a bright future.
“For the past five decades, we have grown with our customers, securely managing their savings, ensuring smooth financial flow, supporting business and improving lives within our communities,” he said in his speech during the Affin Raya open house at a hotel here on Sunday (Apr 27).
According to Wan Razly, the upcoming initiatives include: Porsche campaign with a RM5,000 cashback with a bundle of hire purchase, cards and savings; Affin Edu-Financing-i, for cost of 4.75 per cent helping parents secure education funding for their children’s future, enabling them to achieve their academic qualifications anywhere in the world; ‘Affin 50 Years, 50 Prizes” Golden Jubilee Campaign, featuring 50 exclusive prie, including a grand prize of RM1,000,000; and 1-for-1 Business Class offer with Affin Credit Card with spending with Affin Credit Cards and Deposit to enjoy a complimentary Business Class ticket.
In addition, he also announced that the bank has formed an exclusive partnership with Marriott Bonvoy, the world’s largest hotel chain with over 30 renowned brands and more than 1 million rooms globally, including a strong presence in Malaysia.
“Through this partnership, Affin customers can look forward to unforgettable dining experiences, exclusive access to special events and exceptional discounts on meetings and events with Marriott Bonvoy,” he added.
He also announced that Affin Islamic has been named Best Bank for Islamic Wealth Management Solutions in Malaysia at the Cambridge Islamic Funds Awards (CIFA) 2025.
“This prestigious recognition reaffirms our leadership in Islamic wealth management and highlights our unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation and delivering exceptional service to our clients,” said Wan Razly.
At the same event, the Affin Kenyalang Debit Card was officially launched by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
