KUCHING: Love Bandar Kuching Art Market 2.0 is back once again this year, and it will be better than ever.
Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen said the vibrant market, will be held from May 16 to 18 from 11am to 10pm at Tropics City here.
“With over 50 unique stalls offering a wide array of experiences, from food, handicrafts, to games and entertainment, the Love Bandar Kuching Art Market is set to be the top destination for visitors from all ages this weekend.
”Visitors can look forward to diverse, creative, and non-repetitive booths by artisans, food vendors, creative brands, and entertainment stations from across the region, each with its own unique flair and charm, perfect for hours of exploration without getting bored,” he said in a statement.
Dr Yii added that on Saturday, May 17, from 11am to 4pm, there will also be a free health screening programme under the PEKA B40 initiative for B40 community members.
“A public health talk by a professional doctor will also take place at 1pm, with free admission for all.
”One of the main highlights is a live comedy talk show by renowned Malaysian YouTuber, Lucas and his team from BBK Network, happening on Sunday, May 18, at 7pm – a must-see and great opportunity for fans and the general public,” he added.
Dr Yii added that the organisers aim to establish not just a shopping venue, but a warm and lively space for visitors of all ages to vibe and connect with one another.
“It will be a wonderful opportunity and venue for family and friends to spend meaningful time together.
”A key feature of this market is its pet-friendly policy, and visitors are encouraged to bring their furry pets along.
“There will be a special pet interaction zone for the furry friends who are visiting the market, so that they also get to enjoy and immerse themselves in the cheerful atmosphere of the market,” he said.
He said there will also be a family-friendly space with all kinds of creative activities designed to keep children engaged in fun educational activities.
