The 13-week course which is one of the three self-strengthening modules was to prepare the participants to be committed civil servants with integrity.

According to Senior Training Consultant (Management Unit Office) of Intan Sarawak, Mohamad Haffizie Putit, the aim of the course was to impart knowledge relating to fire and rescue operations to the participants.

“This module also shaped these young highly disciplined PTD officers’ personality besides having the knowledge,” he said during the closing ceremony of Disaster Management and Public Order (Pebaka) Module held at the Fire and Rescue Academy at KM4 Jalan Bau-Krokong yesterday.

Haffizie hoped the participants would apply the knowledge they gained and shared it with their colleagues.
