MUKAH: Project Park FC emerged as champions of the Youth Community Cup 2025 Invitational Football Carnival after defeating Leetonia Jr in a competitive final held at Padang Mesra MDDM, Mukah, on Saturday.

The match kick-off was officiated by Deputy Minister of Economy Malaysia and Mukah Member of Parliament, Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib.

The final showcased an exciting clash between both sides, with end-to-end action and numerous attempts on goal.

Project Park FC struck first in the 28th minute, before doubling their lead in the 55th minute, effectively sealing the victory and denying Leetonia Jr the title.

With the win, Project Park FC took home the challenge trophy, accompanying trophy, medals and RM2,500 in prize money.

Leetonia Jr, the runners-up, received RM1,000, an accompanying trophy and medals.

Third place was shared by Leetonia Jr U16 and Legacy United FC, each earning RM400 and medals.

Several individual awards were also presented at the carnival, with Maxwell (Project Park FC) named Best Player, while his teammate, Andy Simon, clinched the Top Scorer award with eight goals.

Muhd Zamarol Hisyam (Project Park FC) was awarded Best Goalkeeper, and Mohd Hazami Ramli (Leetonia Jr) was named Most Promising Player.

The carnival, organised by SABERKAS Leetonia in collaboration with N.57 Balingian and HHT P213, brought together five youth teams from the Mukah area: Project Park FC, Legacy United FC, Dalat Phoenix FC, Leetonia Jr U16 and Leetonia Jr.

Beyond the competitive matches, the event served as a meaningful platform to unearth young football talent, foster sportsmanship, and strengthen community ties among youth in the Mukah region.
