SINGAPORE: Singapore’s non-oil domestic exports (NODX) rose 7.1 per cent year-on-year in 2Q 2025, extending the 3.3 per cent gain in 1Q, Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) reported yesterday.
Electronics exports climbed 10.5 per cent, driven by personal computers, integrated circuits, and disk media.
Non-electronics shipments grew 6.0 per cent, led by non-monetary gold, specialised machinery, and ship structures.
EnterpriseSG maintained its 2025 NODX forecast at 1–3 per cent, citing a likely slowdown as front-loading subsides and reciprocal tariffs resume from Aug 7. – BERNAMA
