KUCHING: Kuching City FC are determined to improve their performance and focus ahead of tomorrow’s Super League clash against Negeri Sembilan FC at Stadium Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Paroi.
Head coach Aidil Sharin Sahak acknowledged that Negeri Sembilan have shown positive progress under their new coach but stressed that his immediate priority is the recovery of his players following last week’s tough encounter with Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT).
“Negeri Sembilan are developing and becoming stronger this season with their new coach. We have a few days to prepare for Paroi and hope no further injuries occur,” Aidil said at a recent media session.
Aidil is counting on key players including Joao Pedro, Daniel Amier, Gabriel Nistelrooy, and Jordan Mintah to lead the team’s challenge in Paroi.
He added that securing a positive result is crucial for Kuching City’s aim to achieve consistency, not only in performance but also in results on the pitch.
After two Super League matches this season, both Kuching City and Negeri Sembilan have recorded one win and one loss each. – TVS
