KUCHING: Sarawak archers enjoyed a golden outing at the 2025 Borneo Games Kuching, striking multiple victories at the Sarawak Archery Range today.

The campaign opened with Mohd Zullhanizam Mohamed Alibohan taking the men’s barebow gold ahead of Sabah’s Anuar Muhamad (silver) and Labuan’s Jimmy Zaini @ Chew Abdullah (bronze).

Sarawak then swept the women’s barebow through Suryani Effendi, followed by teammates Nurul Qistina Kamaruzaman (silver) and Jalimawati Razali (bronze).

Rising talent, Jaccard Lee, added another gold in the men’s compound, with compatriot, Zhorif Fahim Fadhillah, taking silver.

In the women’s compound, Aira Nadirah Aizuddin settled for silver after falling to East Kalimantan’s Rohani Sephia Ananda Hatta.

The medals kept coming in the women’s recurve as Sabrina Ryusin Chin won gold and Konny Su Yee Wong clinched bronze.

The day closed in style with Cecilna Thanaelbusu Polycarp winning the men’s recurve, ensuring Sarawak emerged as the top archery contingent. – UKAS
