REALME has officially unveiled its latest smartphones in Malaysia — the Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro — successors to the Realme 14 series launched in April this year.
Marketed as the “AI Party Phone”, the Realme 15 series promises a blend of artificial intelligence, powerful cameras and high performance, backed by large batteries, fast charging, and the world’s first AI Edit Genie feature.
Realme 15: The Standard Model
The vanilla Realme 15 sports a 6.77-inch flat AMOLED display with a 2392×1080 resolution, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 6,500 nits. Under the hood, it runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300+ 5G chipset, paired with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. To manage heat, the phone uses a 7,000mm² vapour chamber cooling system.
For photography, the Realme 15 carries a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX882 main sensor and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, there’s a 50MP f/2.4 selfie camera.
Powering the device is a 7,000mAh battery with 80W Ultra Charge via USB-C. Realme claims this setup balances long-lasting use with speedy charging. The handset is also IP69-rated for dust and water resistance and supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and 5G connectivity.
The phone runs Realme UI 6.0, based on Android 15, and comes in Silk Pink and Suit Titanium finishes.
Realme 15 Pro: The Premium Upgrade
The Realme 15 Pro offers several enhancements over the standard model, beginning with a larger 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with a 2800×1280 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and the same peak brightness of 6,500 nits.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, matched with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.2 storage.
Imaging takes a step up with a 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX896 main sensor and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide lens at the rear, alongside a 50MP f/2.4 selfie shooter at the front. All three cameras are capable of recording 4K video at 60fps.
The series debuts several AI-driven features, including the Triple Party AI Algorithm for enhanced portrait shots in any lighting, as well as AI Snap Mode, AI Landscape, 2K Live Photo, and the pioneering AI Edit Genie. The latter allows voice-controlled photo editing in over 20 languages, including English, Bahasa Melayu and Chinese, enabling users to remove objects, change colours and adjust tones with simple commands.
Another highlight is the AI MagicGlow 2.0 flash system, which adjusts between warm and cool tones, while the rear camera module features a Pulse Light that can blink for notifications, calls, alarms, music rhythm, countdowns, gaming signals and AI Gemini sync.
The Pro variant is also fitted with a 7,000mAh battery, offering up to 22 hours of YouTube playback and around 4.5 hours of 4K video recording. With 80W Ultra Charge, the battery goes from zero to 50 per cent in just 25 minutes, and fully charges in 61 minutes. Colour choices include Flowing Silver and Velvet Green.
