SAMARAHAN: Serian FC showed no signs of slowing down as they powered to a commanding 4-1 victory in their fourth Sarawak Premier League 2025 match at the UNIMAS Stadium on Saturday.
The emphatic win extended head coach Edward Jamid Unting’s unbeaten run, keeping Serian firmly on top of the Southern Zone standings with four straight victories.
Former Kuching City FC striker Paul Sambang was the star of the show, netting a brilliant hat-trick to lead Serian’s charge, while Zaifudin Seruji added another to complete the rout.
“Congratulations to the players for securing such an important win and three valuable points.
“It was clear that the players entrusted to start the match performed at a different level.
“They executed the game plan designed by the coach with great discipline and quality,” said Serian Football Association (SFA) president Phillip Jabu when contacted.
Meanwhile, Edward expressed his satisfaction with the team’s strong performance and composure throughout the game.
“The players were under constant pressure from the opposition, but we managed to overcome it perfectly,” said Edward, praising his side for their resilience and teamwork.
He also extended his gratitude to Serian’s loyal supporters for their continuous backing throughout the campaign.
