KUCHING: The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Stampin Branch will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a Charity Gala Dinner on Dec 7 at Seafood Shangri-La, Rooftop City One Megamall, beginning at 6pm.

The event, themed “Celebrating 25 Years of Humanity, Unity & Hope”, marks a major milestone in the branch’s journey of service and aims to raise funds for a new ambulance to enhance its emergency response capabilities and community outreach.

The MRC Stampin Branch has stood as a steadfast pillar of humanitarian service, conducting blood donation campaigns, first-aid training, youth development programmes, disaster relief missions, and numerous community-based initiatives that benefit those in need.

Branch chairman Chew Kim Soon said the celebration serves as both a reflection on the branch’s achievements and a reaffirmation of its enduring commitment to humanitarian work.

“This gala dinner is more than a celebration, it is a call to action.

“By coming together, we can raise the necessary funds to acquire a new ambulance that will help us reach more people, more swiftly, and with greater care.”

The evening will feature live performances, dinner, and a special recognition ceremony to honour long-serving volunteers and partners who have contributed to the branch’s humanitarian mission.

The event will also serve as a platform to strengthen collaboration among corporate sponsors, government agencies, and community organisations in supporting humanitarian causes.

Members of the public, partners, and supporters are invited to attend the celebration and contribute towards improving emergency and community services across the region.
