KUCHING: Sarawak Energy (SEB) confirmed a tripping incident occurred at the Murum Power Station at 7.48am, causing partial loss of supply in different parts of Sarawak yesterday.
The incident occurred due to a broken conductor at Murum to Murum Junction line. Repair works were immediately carried out at the site.
The affected areas included Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu and Miri. Supply was, however, restored to most affected areas by 8am.
Sarawak Energy apologised for inconvenience caused by the incident.
