SRI AMAN: Kuching FA defeated Sri Aman FA 6-0 in the Sarawak Premier League match at the Sri Aman Sports Complex today.

The visitors started brightly and capitalised on an early defensive mix-up, with Mohammad Faris Mohd Faidillah opening the scoring in the fifth minute after a scramble in front of goal.

Kuching continued to press forward, coming close again when an effort struck the post before Mohammad Shahfitri Salim doubled the lead in the 10th minute.

Shahfitri went on to complete a fine hat-trick with goals in the 22nd and 38th minutes.

Abang Mohd Haiqal also found the net in the 37th minute, extending Kuching’s advantage as they went into the break with a comfortable 5-0 lead.

After the restart, Kuching maintained their attacking rhythm, with Mohamad Irfan Syahmi adding a sixth goal in the 53rd minute to round off a confident team performance.

Despite the result, Sri Aman FA showed determination and continued to push forward against one of the more consistent sides in the competition.

The match reflected Kuching FA’s growing teamwork, while Sri Aman FA will look to improve and prepare for their next game.
