XIAOMI has officially unveiled the Redmi K90 Pro Max in China — the latest flagship under its Redmi brand — featuring a powerful lineup of hardware aimed at performance enthusiasts and power users alike.

At its core, the K90 Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device sports a 6.9-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an exceptionally high touch sampling rate of up to 2560Hz. It also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, boasting a peak brightness of around 3,500 nits and a minimum as low as 1 nit, ensuring superb visibility in all lighting conditions.

On the rear, the smartphone houses a triple 50MP camera system, comprising a main 50MP sensor (1/1.31-inch with OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 5× optical zoom and up to 10× lossless zoom. The front camera ranges between 20MP and 32MP, depending on the market variant.

Powering the device is a 7,560mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and reverse wired charging capabilities. For audio, it features a 2.1-channel speaker system tuned by BOSE, delivering premium stereo sound quality.

The K90 Pro Max also comes equipped with an advanced ice-sealed cooling system covering 6,700 mm², ensuring sustained peak performance during gaming or intensive use. Connectivity options include 5G (SA/NSA), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and enhanced GPS navigation.

Storage configurations range from 12GB + 256GB to 16GB + 1TB, catering to different user needs.

In China, the Redmi K90 Pro Max starts at CNY 3,999 (approximately RM2,300) for the 12GB + 256GB model, with the Champion Edition priced at CNY 5,499 (around RM3,200). The model currently appears to be exclusive to the Chinese market.

As with previous releases, the Redmi K series is expected to launch internationally under Xiaomi’s POCO branding. Fans will have to wait for Xiaomi Malaysia’s official announcement regarding its local availability.
