KUCHING: The Malaysian Red Crescent unit of SJK Chung Hua No 5 Kuching (Stampin Branch) has been recognised with the Best Junior Unit 2025 (Category A) award at the Malaysian Red Crescent Sarawak Convention and Volunteers’ Recognition Night 2025 recently.
The prestigious accolade honours the unit’s steadfast commitment to humanitarian service, leadership and active community engagement throughout the year.
It reflects the students’ dedication, teamwork and discipline, fully supported by the school community.
Chairman of the Malaysian Red Crescent Stampin Branch Chew Kim Soon, in a statement, expressed his sincere gratitude to the school for the remarkable achievement.
He lauded the unit for continuing to inspire others through exemplary service aligned with the Red Crescent mission.
Meanwhile, the school’s headmistress Tay Kok Ing said the award received belongs to every teacher, parent and student who stood by the unit with unwavering support and enthusiasm.
“Your collective spirit and commitment have made this milestone possible,” Tay said.
