GYEONGJU, South Korea: YTL Power International Bhd’s green data centre in Kulai, Johor, has entered full operations and is expanding rapidly, with full capacity expected within two years, said Managing Director, Datuk Seri Yeoh Seok Hong.

He said customers have begun using the facility, powered partly by solar energy and backed by 600 megawatts from the national grid.

“We already have 300 megawatts being built and commissioned on-site, and we reckon in the next two years this will be fully occupied,” he told reporters.

Located on a 664-hectare campus, the facility integrates Nvidia’s latest liquid-cooled NVL72 Grace Blackwell GPUs and is designed for large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning workloads. – BERNAMA
