KUCHING: A total of 120 students from Satok contituency attended the Kecemerlangan Pecutan SPM DUN Satok programme to improve their performance in the upcoming SPM examinations.
Deputy Minister for Utility (Sarawak Energy Berhad and PETROS) and Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki said the programme was implemented as a platform for fifth-form students to prepare for the SPM examinations, which will take place in three weeks.
“This programme is nothing less than an effort to inspire and strengthen the students of Satok in their pursuit of knowledge, especially as you will be facing the SPM in the next three weeks.
“Education is our top priority as leaders. I hope this programme provides the maximum benefit to all of you,” he said at the closing of the programme yesterday.
His text of speech was delivered by political secretary to the Premier, Abdul Samat Gany.

Ibrahim expressed his excitement at the enthusiasm displayed by the participants, who were seen to remain energetic and committed from the beginning to the end of the programme.
“This shows that the students of Satok are capable of extraordinary commitment in ensuring they face the SPM exams successfully.
“That is the spirit we should have, demonstrating that the children of Satok are strong and stand firm in facing challenges.
“These challenges are not only felt by students but also by parents and our leadership team, where we will always stand behind you as unwavering support to ensure your success,” he emphasised.
The programme, organised by the Satok Constituency Education Bureau, ran from 7 am to 5 pm at Dewan Anak Seni Kampung Bandarshah.
