SELANGAU: Four people, including a nine-year-old girl, escaped with minor injuries in two separate accidents yesterday (Nov 15).
In the first crash at the P-Turn near Kampung Sepaya, a pickup truck carrying two Indonesians, namely a man and a woman, skidded and overturned to the roadside at around 5.45pm.
The woman suffered a sprained left shoulder while the man sustained light injuries. They were found standing by the roadside when Civil Defence Force (APM) Selangau responders arrived.
Both victims were given basic first aid and waited for family members to pick them up.

At around 6.45 pm, APM Selangau was dispatched to another accident involving a Toyota Innova at Batu 36, Tamin, Jalan Sibu–Selangau.
Responders found the victims, a 42-year-old woman and a nine-year-old girl, were by the scene of the crash accompanied by members of the public.
The girl complained of chest discomfort, while the woman sustained minor injuries. Both received on-site treatment.
In both cases, none of the victims required further medical attention and declined to be taken to a clinic.
