MIRI: Sarawak is stepping into the global spotlight as the KSC Summit 2025 prepares to push artificial intelligence from research labs into hospitals and clinics.
The summit, themed ‘AI + Healthcare: From Research to Real World Impact’, will be held on Nov 23 at the historic Old Miri City Council Building(Jalan Kingsway.
Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Prof Dr Sim Kui Hian, who is also Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government, will officiate at the event.
Organised by Imasa Dinasti Sdn Bhd, part of the TAK Group of Companies, the full-day conference promises to accelerate partnerships between policymakers, medical professionals, and tech innovators, aiming to embed AI solutions across diagnostics, treatment, and hospital management.
“This summit marks a turning point,” said Ar Teo Ah Khing, chairman of TAK Group and head of the organising committee.
“We are moving from theory to action, deploying AI to transform patient care and redefine healthcare outcomes, not just in Sarawak, but globally.”
The summit opens with a high-profile launch of a major new initiative, followed by keynote addresses and panel discussions tackling the operational, ethical, and commercial realities of AI in medicine.
Delegates include healthcare leaders, data scientists, investors, and government officials.
