PADAWAN: Police are probing the death of an Indonesian man who was found lying by the roadside along Jalan Lumba Kuda, old Penrissen Road, here today.
The discovery was reported by a member of the public after spotting the 37-year-old at around 8:05 am.
Padawan Police Chief, Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi, said a team from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and the Sarawak Police Forensics Unit was dispatched to examine the scene.
“Officers discovered injuries on the victim’s forehead, and paramedics later confirmed his death at the scene. The cause of death is still under investigation, and the case has been classified as sudden death pending a post-mortem report,” he said.
