SRI AMAN: Preparations for the organisation of the 4th Sarawak Games (SUKSAR IV) in Sri Aman and Betong have been refined through a coordination meeting held at the Sri Aman Resident’s Office today.
The meeting, chaired by Sri Aman Division Resident, Mahra Salleh, aimed to discuss and coordinate preparations for SUKSAR IV, which is scheduled to take place from February 5 to 8 in Sri Aman and Betong.
Key discussion points included logistics, venue preparation, technical management, security, and strengthening cooperation among implementing agencies to ensure the smooth running of the state-level sports event.
During the meeting, it was decided that several sports events would be held in Sri Aman, including basketball, karate, petanque, table tennis, sepak takraw, softball, and boxing.
The organisation of SUKSAR IV is expected to be an important platform to discover and showcase young Sarawak athletes’ talents, as well as to foster sportsmanship and strengthen unity between districts.
Meanwhile, the meeting also emphasised the need for continuous commitment from all parties involved so that every aspect of planning can be effectively implemented, ensuring SUKSAR IV in Sri Aman and Betong runs smoothly and achieves its objectives.
