KUCHING: All eyes will be on Sarawak State Stadium as Bintulu and Samarahan battle in a winner-takes-all final for the 2025/2026 Sarawak Premier Cup.
At the same time, the match will decide which team will be crowned champion of this inaugural edition.
The match between the two sides is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm tomorrow (Sunday, Feb 15).
Both teams, representing different zones, appear evenly matched, each with a chance to make history and claim the prestigious title.
Samarahan’s coach, Ideris Untong, believes the chances for both teams to lift the trophy are balanced.
According to Ideris, his team will enter the match as the ‘underdog’ against Bintulu, a side with a strong and distinctive character.

“We are ready to face the intensity of the final against Bintulu tomorrow afternoon.
“We are aware we are up against a team with an excellent record, unbeaten throughout the competition,” Ideris said when contacted.
Nevertheless, Ideris said his players are prepared for the challenge in their mission to win the championship.
Bintulu’s coach, Farhan Abdullah Anai Igang, also acknowledged that his team will be up against a solid side in tomorrow’s final.
“We are facing a team that is strong in every position. It is certainly a challenging task to prepare the players for tomorrow’s match, but we are ready to face it,” said Farhan.
