PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia joins commonwealth nations to commemorate Commonwealth Day 2026, reaffirming its commitment to the principles, values and spirit of cooperation that unite our Commonwealth family.
In a statement on Monday, the Foreign Ministry said this year’s theme, “Unlocking Opportunities Together for a Prosperous Commonwealth,” sets the tone for stronger cooperation within the Commonwealth with the promise of a better and more prosperous future for all amid current global challenges.
The ministry said Malaysia remains committed to deepening cooperation with the Commonwealth in working together to build a more prosperous, inclusive and resilient Commonwealth for present and future generations.
Commonwealth Day is observed annually on the second Monday of March. – BERNAMA
