KUCHING: Senior officers from the police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) paid a courtesy call to Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafarhere on Monday.

The delegation was led by Sarawak CID chief, SAC Lim San Aik, to the Head of State’s official residence at Kasuma Resort, Petra Jaya.

Also present during the visit was Wan Junaidi’s wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.

In a Facebook posting he said the meeting centred on the management of official documents and also provided an opportunity for informal discussions on security and public order in the state.

During the meeting, Wan Junaidi also shared views based on his involvement in the police force during his earlier years of service.

Wan Junaidi expressed appreciation for the commitment and dedication of all personnel of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), particularly the Sarawak Criminal Investigation Department, in carrying out their responsibilities to safeguard peace, sovereignty and the well-being of the people in the state.
