KUANTAN, Pahang: A total of 500 eKasih recipients received Aidilfitri contribution from the Prime Minister at Masjid Bukit Setongkol here on March 12.
The presentation of the contribution was done during a ‘Majlis Berbuka Puasa MADANI’ event which was attended by community leaders, the recipients, orphans as well as tahfiz students to enlighten the event.
Political Secretary to the Prime Minister, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, presented the contribution to the recipients on behalf of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The 500 recipients received the contributions of RM250 each through the Pahang State Development Office in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
Ahmad Farhan expressed hope that the contributions will help ease the burden of the recipients in their preparation for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
“I also expressed the MADANI government’s commitment to continue upholding the propagation of Islam as the foundation for building a balanced and morally upright society.
“The leadership of the Prime Minister is not only focused on good governance, but is also grounded in human dignity and social justice as the main pillars of an inclusive and sustainable national development,” he said.
He hoped that this Ramadan continues to be a platform for us to strengthen brotherhood, cultivate compassion, and reinforce the commitment to serve for the well-being of the people and the prosperity of the nation.
