KUCHING: Bantu Sarawak, through its Sarawak AeroBig Day 2026 initiative, is seeking to strengthen collaboration with the Sarawak State Youth and Sports Department (JBSN) to advance youth and sports development in the state.
The initiative’s delegation, led by Bantu Sarawak founder Jeffery Ngui Voon Chiang, paid a courtesy call on JBSN Sarawak, where they were received by its director, Lamat Nyalau, and Sports Development assistant director Fatimah Abdul Rahman.
Discussions focused on potential collaboration to organise high-impact programmes that increase youth participation and promote a healthy, active lifestyle within the community.
Bantu Sarawak also proposed that JBSN Sarawak serve as a key strategic partner in implementing Sarawak AeroBig Day 2026.
In addition, Lamat was suggested as a programme advisor, given his experience and expertise in sports development at the state level.
The organisation expressed confidence that the collaboration would contribute to a more dynamic, inclusive and sustainable youth and sports development ecosystem in Sarawak, while strengthening community engagement.
