KUCHING: Perbadanan Nasional Bhd (PERNAS) will kick off its ‘Business Engagement: Road to Franchise’ session at the Grand Margherita Hotel on April 11.
Organised in collaboration with the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) and the Kuching Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCGCCI), the session aims to assist local enterprises in understanding government support and resources available for business growth and franchise development.
“The programme has attracted over 60 local businesses, demonstrating strong interest and participation.
“PERNAS, which operates under the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development (KUSKOP), remains committed to strengthening local enterprises and supporting Malaysia’s franchising and chain business ecosystem,” it said in a PERNAS statement issued today (April 8).
On the day of the event, registration and breakfast will begin at 8:30 am, followed by the official programme at 10:00 am, which will include welcoming remarks and a presentation by PERNAS representatives.
Participants are expected to gain insights into government initiatives related to business expansion, financing, and franchise development.
The session will also feature a PERNAS Business Clinic, where participants can have one-to-one
consultations with PERNAS officers to receive tailored guidance and advice on business
development strategies.
The programme is scheduled to conclude at 1:00 pm, followed by lunch.
