Woman hurt in three-vehicle crash at 10th Mile flyover

PADAWAN: A 44-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle collision at the 10th Mile flyover here this morning.

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the accident, reported at 8.27am, involved a Proton X50, Perodua Bezza and Perodua Alza.

A team from the Siburan station arrived at the scene at 8.45am.

“The female victim from the Alza was found to have been extricated by members of the public prior to the arrival of rescuers and was not trapped,” Bomba said in a statement.

She was later sent to hospital by members of the public for further treatment.

The drivers of the other two vehicles were unhurt.

Firefighters subsequently carried out flushing works to clear oil spillage at the scene to ensure road safety.

The operation ended at 9.43am.
