KUCHING: Supermarket chain Everrise has announced a strategic transformation of its loyalty programme, with the Everrise membership officially migrating to the Grab app starting April 9.
The move provides a seamless, all-in-one digital experience for shoppers across Borneo.
According to the press statement today (April 13), by integrating with Grab, Everrise replaces its traditional reward system with a streamlined, tech-enabled alternative.
This ensures that every Ringgit spent delivers more value for the consumer.
The new Grab-powered membership centres on three key changes.
Members will now earn GrabCoins on all Everrise purchases, replacing the previous points system. These coins can be redeemed for discounts on future Everrise grocery bills, GrabFood orders, GrabMart deliveries or Grab rides.
Physical membership cards have also been phased out in favour of the Grab app, giving shoppers instant access to their rewards and member status directly from their smartphones.
Exclusive member-only discounts continue to be available, with shoppers scanning their Grab-linked ID at checkout to unlock lower prices on thousands of essential items.
Everrise has assured existing cardholders that physical Gold Cards remain valid for identity verification and access to exclusive member pricing at all outlets.
However, customers who wish to earn and redeem GrabCoins must link their membership to the Grab app.
As of April 9, Everrise member cards will no longer accrue loyalty points.
Everrise is encouraging all customers to download or update their Grab app and link their accounts to ensure uninterrupted reward collection.
