PUTRAJAYA: The Ministry of Finance has announced a downward revision in selected retail petroleum prices for the period of April 23 to 29, in line with easing global oil prices.

The price of subsidised RON95 (BUDI95) remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre, while subsidised petrol under the Subsidised Petrol Programme (SKPS) stays at RM2.05 per litre.

Diesel in Peninsular Malaysia recorded the most significant decrease, dropping by 85 sen to RM5.12 per litre.

Meanwhile, subsidised diesel under the Subsidised Diesel Programme (SKDS) remains at RM2.15 per litre.

For Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan, the diesel price is also unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.

The ministry said the government will continue to monitor global market trends closely and adjust domestic fuel prices accordingly to ensure stability while safeguarding the well-being of the people.
