KUCHING: Home-grown diversified company, Katimas Group recently organised its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, ‘Randau Kasih 4.0’ demonstrating its continued commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
Its staff members gathered with children from care centres, providing educational, creative, and interactive activities aimed at inspiring young minds while fostering positive social connections at The Salvation Army and Kuching Children Care Centre.
The CSR activity featured three specially curated programmes designed to nurture creativity, financial awareness, and personal development among the children.
They were guided on subjects such as ‘Little Artist’s Creative Corner’, ‘Be A Money Hero’ and ‘After SPM Reality Check!’ interactive sessions.
Managing Director of Katimas Group, Datuk Franco Lee, shared that ‘Randau Kasih 4.0’ reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to making a positive impact beyond business operations.
“Community engagement is most meaningful when it comes from the heart. Through ‘Randau Kasih 4.0’, and by going to the children in their own environment, we hope to create not only meaningful moments of connection, but also a lasting reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for because every child deserves to feel supported and empowered to pursue their future with confidence,” he said.
Katimas Group also contributed donations to support the needs of the centre, including a Sharp 12.5kg Top Load Washer, goodie bags for the children containing stationery gift sets, exercise books, snacks, milk, and tumblers, as well as appreciation goodie bags for the centre’s staff members.
Since its inception in 2024, the ‘Randau Kasih’ programme has reflected the Katimas Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting the well-being and development of underprivileged children through meaningful CSR initiatives that promote learning, empowerment, and social inclusion within the community.
