KUCHING: Sarawak-based cashless payment and technology company Pay & Go has officially expanded into the Brunei market with the implementation of its smart parking system at Takaful Brunei.
Its founder and chief executive officer (CEO) Eddie Wee announced the development through a Facebook post, describing it as the company’s first overseas export market.

“I am excited and happy to announce that Pay and Go has now officially entered the Brunei Market with the implementation of Smart Parking in Takaful Brunei.
“This is our first overseas export market and hopefully more to come,” he said.
He also expressed appreciation to users and drivers who have supported the Sarawak-grown platform over the years.
“Thanks to all drivers and our users for making Sarawak proud,” he added.
Pay & Go is widely known in Sarawak for its cashless parking system, which allows motorists to enter and exit selected parking facilities using vehicle number plate recognition technology without the need for physical parking tickets.
The application is currently used at several shopping malls and commercial buildings in Kuching and other parts of Sarawak, where users can make parking payments directly through the mobile application.
Over the years, the platform has gradually expanded beyond parking services into other digital convenience features, positioning itself as one of the local technology solutions developed in Sarawak.
The move into Brunei marked another step forward for the homegrown company as it continues to grow its presence outside the state.
