KUCHING: Level Up Fitness has expanded its national footprint with the opening of a new outlet in Petaling Jaya.

Level Up Fitness director Kenny Sia said the company is now one of the largest employers of fitness professionals, becoming the first Sarawak-based fitness brand to operate across the South China Sea, with a presence in Sarawak, Sabah and West Malaysia.

“It all started in Jalan Petanak 16 years ago, and today we have 20 outlets nationwide, including in Sarawak, Sabah and West Malaysia,” he said.

He said this at a press conference held in conjunction with the Handover Ceremony of Train Me Private Coaching Uniform Sponsorship by Lea Sports Centre (LSC) and Under Armour at Sarawak Plaza, here today (June 8).

Also present was Lea Holdings Sdn Bhd managing director Raymond Sim Hee Pang.

In addition to its expansion into West Malaysia, Sia said Level Up Fitness will also open two new outlets in Kuching this year, located at Westfield Point in Mile 6 and Pine Square at Abberton Avenue.

“Pre-sales are currently ongoing, and the opening of these two new locations will also see more trainers joining the team,” he added.

The event celebrated the continued collaboration between LSC and Level Up Fitness through the sponsorship of full uniforms for the Train Me Private Coaching trainers.

Sia expressed appreciation to LSC for its support, saying the partnership between local brands such as LSC and Level Up Fitness demonstrates that homegrown companies can grow and build stronger reputations in a competitive market.

“Local brands are sometimes seen as small or less competitive, but the success of LSC in expanding to West Malaysia and Brunei shows otherwise, just like the success of Level Up Fitness,” he said.
