KOTA SAMARAHAN: A domestic dispute took a violent turn when a local woman allegedly stabbed her husband, leaving him with a serious abdominal injury yesterday (June 22).
The 31-year-old was arrested by officers from the Kota Samarahan police station’s Crime Prevention Patrol Unit (RCJ) after receiving information about the incident.
Acting on investigations, officers tracked the woman to the Kota Samarahan Heart Centre, where she was receiving treatment for an injury to her right eyebrow believed to have been sustained during the altercation.
Upon completing her treatment, she was taken into custody and brought to Kota Samarahan police station to assist with investigations.
Police also seized a motorcycle helmet believed to be connected to the case.
The case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon.
Police said the arrest was carried out without incident, with no resistance or untoward events reported.
