KUCHING: It was an afternoon of good food, laughter and conversation as Sarawak Energy hosted members of the local media fraternity to a Gawai luncheon today (June 23).
Held in conjunction with the harvest festival, the gathering provided an opportunity for journalists and Sarawak Energy personnel to take a break from their usual work routines and connect in a more relaxed setting.
Among those present were Sarawak Energy Corporate Communication general manager Elaine Tan as well as other members of the corporate communication team.
As guests enjoyed a spread of local dishes and festive delicacies, conversations flowed freely, ranging from current affairs and industry developments to stories from the field and plans for the upcoming months.
The luncheon also served as a platform to strengthen rapport between Sarawak Energy and media practitioners, whose working relationship has played an important role in keeping the public informed on developments within the energy sector and across Sarawak.
