KUCHING: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak is inviting its registered members to take part in the Emerald Online Quiz 2026, an initiative aimed at encouraging the use of digital information resources.
The online quiz runs from July 15 to September 15, giving members the opportunity to explore the Emerald Insight database, which offers a wide range of academic and professional reference materials.
According to Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, the initiative is designed to help members strengthen their information literacy while making better use of the digital resources available through the state library.
Participants can register an Emerald Insight profile before accessing the quiz.
Answers can be found by using the Emerald Insight database available through the Pustaka Negeri Sarawak website.
Prizes include a PlayStation Portal Remote Player for PS5, three HONOR X5i smartwatches, three EarFun Air Pro 4 wireless earbuds, and 10 RM50 Parkson vouchers.
To be eligible for the prizes, participants must answer all the questions and submit their entries within the competition period.
This programme forms part of their ongoing efforts to expand access to digital information resources and equip the community with relevant information literacy skills in the digital age.
They also added that the initiative also supports its aspiration to provide innovative, inclusive and user-centred library services through the use of technology and quality knowledge resources.
