KUCHING: Police arrested a 35-year-old local man believed to be linked to two property offences, seizing several items, including five trays of eggs, during the operation.
Kuching police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said the suspect was detained by a team from the District Criminal Investigation Division at Jalan Intan on Wednesday (Jul 15).
He said the man is believed to be involved in a motorcycle theft and a burglary in the district.

“Among the items seized were a Honda motorcycle bearing a false registration number, a SYM motorcycle, three motorcycle keys, a blue helmet and five trays of eggs.
“A urine screening test found the suspect positive for drugs,” he said.
Police checks also revealed that the suspect had several previous offences under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
